Historically Hip Homesteading: Herb Lab

Join Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey House for the first in a series of unique locally-focused outdoor classes on the Woodlawn grounds that explore age-old processes for making beautiful, useful and often delicious goods from the land. The 1805 historic landscape, once part of George Washington's farm at Mount Vernon, provides the perfect place for this participatory weekly class that teaches you how to pick and use foraged herbs and flowers. Take a step into the past to create herbal products that you will use or give right now!  Masks and social distancing requirements will apply.
