The hand-painted designs on the ceramics all over the store of Via Umbria are the brainchild of Gerardo Ribigini, who inherited the studio from his father and now shares the studio with his wife, Assunta, and their children, Federico and Claudia. Over three generations, they have sustained a family business that embodies the quality and integrity of true Italian artistry. Come learn about the interesting and unique history of the studio and Gerardo’s vision which imbues the historic designs of the Renaissance with fresh colors and modern motifs of Deruta, Umbria. Claudia and Federico will be teaming up to teach about the history of the family and their art. $25 per person.
