Home to the largest whiskey collection in the Western Hemisphere, Jack Rose Dining Saloon is bringing back its annual “National Bourbon Heritage Month” celebration. For its 8th annual celebration, Jack Rose is paying homage to America’s history-laden brown spirit by inviting whiskey lovers to enjoy an exciting bourbon-fueled week featuring whiskey tastings, happy hours, a bourbon cocktail takeover, and a Bill Thomas-led tasting of rare releases. Named the “World’s Best Whisky Bar” in 2020 by Whisky Magazine, Jack Rose continually encourages whiskey exploration, leading you through varieties of whisk(e)y, scotch, and this month’s featured spirit, bourbon. On Thursday, September 23, celebrate with Wild Turkey Russell’s Reserve x Jack Rose Single Barrel Launch ($25) from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You will get first access to this new release while enjoying welcome cocktails, and 1oz pours of the new single barrel, and a new Russell’s Reserve 13-year bourbon. For tickets and more information please click here. On Friday, September 24 enjoy Bourbon Cocktail Takeover from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Bourbon cocktails are taking over Jack Rose, when the award-winning bar team will serve up a special menu of classic bourbon cocktails for only $10. Expect well-made, well-known drinks like the Manhattan, Old Fashioned, and Boulevardier, plus other additions. On Saturday, September 25, celebrate with New Riff Tasting with Bill Thomas from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join owner William Thomas for a special led tasting of six limited-release expressions from Kentucky’s New Riff Distillery. Specialty, harder-to-find whiskeys include Jack Rose’s own single barrel bourbon, two gift shop-only single barrel ryes, an heirloom grain Balboa Rye, a Malted Rye, and a Winter Wheat. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased by clicking hereFor more information about Jack Rose Dining Saloon’s National Bourbon Heritage Month festivities, please click here.
