Jamaican Independence Day

Jamaican Independence Day is Friday, August 6th and Grandpa Hank’s Jamaican Kitchen in Sterling has created two epic family-style meal boxes to help celebrate. From August 4th through August 8th, the meal box will be available through Grubhub, Doordash, Ubereats as well as in person pick up. There are two options serving either four people, or four to six people. The $50 package includes a whole chicken, two sides of sauteed cabbage, two sides of rice and beans, four beef patties, two sides of cocoa breads, and four pineapple sodas. The $86 package containstwo cocktails, two whole chicken, two beef patties, four cocoa breads, and four pineapple sodas. There will also be a handwritten card in the box to make a Jamaican Cocktail.
