Jewish Flavor: Shavuot Feast
The week before Shavuot, Chef Vered Guttman puts a Sephardic twist on the Ashkenazi tradition of eating dairy dishes on the holiday. Dishes include sephardi pastelikos (type of borek) with eggplant and feta, green pea, kale, and ricotta pashtida (kugel), Iraqi crepes (kahi) with butter and cream, and Israeli-style cheesecake.
