John Ruppert's Verdant Orb at Mount Vernon Triangle

Join the Mount Vernon Triangle CID for the opening of Prather's Plaza, the installation of John Ruppert’s "Verdant Orb" and the third MVT Photo Walk Exhibit, "Mount Vernon Triangle: Community in Detail". Verdant Orb is a sculpture by John Ruppert who creates works "inspired by the landscape, the processes that have formed it, and humanity’s relationship to it." Verdant Orb is made out of coated chain-link fence and invites the viewer to "reimagine where things begin and where they end." You are invited to check it out for yourself, and plan to stop by the official ribbon cutting at 4:00 p.m.
