Chef Rochelle Cooper is bringing back a Capitol Hill favorite with the relaunch of Lucky Plum Ice Cream Shoppe, celebrating the occasion with a one-day pop-up at La Collina on Saturday, August 29, beginning at 11 a.m. until sold out. Guests can enjoy $4 scoops of a variety of handcrafted flavors before choosing from Lucky Plum's signature 26-ounce Pint+, offering 10 ounces more than a traditional pint. Originally launched during the pandemic as a creative way to transform excess kitchen ingredients into house-made ice cream, Lucky Plum quickly gained a loyal following. Today, the reimagined brand continues its commitment to premium ingredients and a uniquely smooth, light texture, crafted without eggs, heavy cream, soy, or gelatin using a specialized hot-process method. Following the pop-up, Lucky Plum Pint+ flavors will be available for purchase at The Duck & The Peach, La Collina, and through online ordering.
