The Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Greater Washington, DC Chapter, invites members and guests to an extraordinary evening of bourbon heritage on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The exclusive event, Legendary Bourbons: A Guided Tasting in Historic Georgetown, will take place in the private upstairs room of the Fountain Inn, formerly known as Suter’s Tavern—an establishment dating back to 1783 and once frequented by George Washington. This intimate, 16-person tasting will feature three exceptionally rare bourbons from “ghost” distilleries: Old Crow Chessmen Decanter (1969), Old Fitzgerald Prime Decanter (1970s), and a 1970s Jim Beam Decanter, each offering a singular glimpse into America’s distilling past. Attendees will enjoy a light seasonal tasting menu alongside these historic spirits. Presented in partnership with The Bourbon Concierge, guests will receive a 10% discount on spirits purchased through December 6, 2025. Business attire with decorations is requested. Registration is open until November 12, 2025, at noon, or until sold out. Members may register online at LaChaineDC.com, while non-members can contact Bailli Judy Mazza at 301-469-0352 to reserve their place at this unrepeatable evening of fine bourbon and fellowship.
