Live Art Activation at Tysons Corner Center

Tysons Corner Center’s concierge will accept clothing donations from Saturday, April 1st through Thursday, April 20th on The Plaza concourse. Visitors who provide a clothing donation will receive a stylish free reusable tote bag. Chicago-based artist, Brandin Hurley, who is skilled in crafting fine art installations and sculptures will upcycle selected garments into a work of art. The unique and live art installation will happen on Saturday, April 22nd, from noon – 2:00 p.m. and be displayed on the plaza concourse. The remainder of the unused clothes will be donated to nonprofit organization, Second Story, whose mission is to provide counseling, assistance, and housing to homeless youth and young mothers in need.
