Make Midday your new Midnight for 2021. Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery is taking a bite out of last year and gobbling up luck for the new year with the tried and true traditional southern comfort dish - Hoppin’ John.  The slow-cooked special of Black-Eyed Peas is ladled over Long Grain Rice with a side or two of Collard Greens with Benton’s Bacon, Root Beer Glazed Ham Steak, and plenty of George Washington Gristmill ground cornmeal prepared in the buttery Cornbread. Or veg-out, literally, with the Vegetarian Lucky Plate (Guas makes a pot without Ham). Make it a boozy brunch with $5 cocktails all day, bottomless Mississippi Mimosas for only $5, and signature Bayou Bloody Mary and Espresso cocktails. Dine-in, deliver, or pick-up the day before! Early bird gets all the luck - Bayou Bakery will open at 8:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day and serve Brunch all day until 3:00 p.m. Orders for grab-n-geaux Black Eyed Peas catering must be placed 48-hours in advance by Tuesday, December 29 for pick up on the 31st.
