Copper Fox Distillery's Lecture Series will continue in 2023 at the Williamsburg distillery, beginning with a series of three presentations on the Civil War Ironclad USS Monitor, which changed the course of naval warfare worldwide after engaging with Confederate's Ironclad Virginia (AKA Merrimac) in Hampton Roads. The third speakr is Will Hoffman, Director of Conservation & Chief Conservator at The Mariners' Museum and Park, who is currently treating artifacts in tanks of chemicals to stabilize them for eventual exposure to air and exhibition. This event is free and open to the public and will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
