Mark Your Calendar For Ordering Your To-Go Hanukkah Cookie Decorating Boxes

This holiday season, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is offering Hanukkah cookie decorating kits to-go. Take home your own holiday fun for the family from the Fairmont. Those wearing their ugliest holiday sweater or mask when picking up boxes will be entered to win prizes. Proceeds will benefit Horton’s Kids. Executive Pastry Chef A.J. Thalakkat has been working hard to create magical fun for all generations. Each Hanukkah cookie decorating box contains six decorated spiced shortbread cookies by Chef Thalakkat for inspiration, twelve frosted spiced shortbread cookies to decorate, four pastry piping bags with baby blue, royal blue, white, and yellow frosting, and assorted sprinkles. You may pick up your cookie kit on Tuesday, December 8th at 12:00 p.m. in the hotel’s driveway on 24th Street. Those who are wearing ugly holiday sweaters and/or masks, will be entered to win overnight stays, dinners and other prizes. Georgie, Fairmont’s Canine Ambassador, will greet guests in her own ugly holiday sweater. Hanukkah cookie decorating kits to-go are $35 each. Orders must be placed by Friday, December 4th.
