MARK YOUR CALENDAR: HipCityVeg's Launch Of Plant-Based Hot Dog Cart Outside Nats Park May 21

HipCityVeg, the plant-based fast casual restaurant group based in Philadelphia, is launching a plant-based hot dog cart outside of Nationals Park in Washington, DC, on May 23rd. The custom hot dog cart will be stationed in front of HipCityVeg’s newest location on Half Street, steps from the baseball stadium’s center field entrance. The cart, co-sponsored by Beyond Meat®, will be open on game and event days and wheeled to the Saturday farmer’s market on Half Street. The custom cart will serve Beyond Sausage® Brats on vegan hot dog buns with a variety of condiments, along with HipCityVeg’s fresh-pressed kale lemonade, and vegan chips. Baseball fans and concertgoers can bring their "dogs” into the stadium, or enjoy them on the Half Street pedestrian walkway before or after games and events. Special guest hot dog slingers will work the cart on game days, including local and national celebrities and influencers. These pinch hitters will designate a charity to receive a portion of the sales during their shifts.
