MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Japanese Women in Food Dinner at Perry's

Chef Masako Morishita of Perry’s will host a collaborative dinner in partnership with some of Washington DC’s most talented Japanese women professionals in food & beverage on Monday, December 4th. A celebration of Japanese food and drink, the dinner includes a five-course meal prepared by Chef Masako with desserts from Chef Yuri Oberbillig of the popular Japanese patisserie Saku Saku Flakerie. Planned menu items include Masako’s signature dish of Braised Daikon and Melted Brie, Japanese-imported Madai with Ochazuke (dashi over rice), Sake-baked Japanese Scallops with Miso Romesco, Chestnut Shortcake, and more. The dinner costs $150 per person. Drink pairings, courtesy of Risa Sakanishi and Jessica Jolyof, will be available for an additional $75. To make a reservation, email [email protected].
