Mark your calendar for this online class learning all things cheese and sake (and pairings!). In this exclusive and exciting event, Cheesetique's founder, Jill Erber, will partner with the founder of DC Sake Co., Reiko Hirai, to co-teach a comprehensive class on Japanese sake and cheese. Jill and Reiko will teach live in Jill's kitchen, making this the first joint class in over a year. Your class kit serves two to four people. and includes Vermont Creamery fresh chèvre, triple cream Carr Valley crema kasa, delicate blue gorgonzola dolce, mild washed-rind chaumes, Chef Natasha's homemade yuzu marmalade, and crisp kame rice crackers. Your sake kit includes four 4-oz. bottles of sake of different styles and ages (16 oz. total). While tasting, Reiko will teach you about the history, manufacturing, and appreciation of sake. And of course, you will pair the sakes with the cheeses to find your favorite combinations. $59.99 for your class kit and access to the online class. Sake available as an add-on for $44.99.
