Tanabata, the Japanese Star Festival on July 7th, celebrates the legend of Orihime, the weaver princess, and Hikoboshi, the herder. These lovers, separated by the Milky Way, are allowed to meet just once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month. General admission tickets $20 per person; $10 per Hillwood and JASWDC Members; $7 per student (with ID); $5 per child aged 6-18 years old; and free for children under 6 years old.
