Enjoy the sights and sounds of Korea to welcome the Lunar New Year with the drummers of Washington Samulnori. This traditional Korean percussion troupe is dedicated to performing and preserving Samulnori. Its high-energy performance features four different percussive instruments: changgo (hourglass-shaped drum), buk (barrel drum), jing (large gong), and kkwaenggwari (small gong). No registration is required. Performances will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the East Building.
