Natural Wine Social “Laissez-fair(e): Deux”
2437 15th Street NW
Laissez-fair(e), DC’s premiere natural wine social is back. On Sunday, October 2nd, Please Bring Chips will present “Laissez-fair(e): Deux”, the long-awaited sequel to Laissez-fair(e). From 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., you will have the opportunity to taste, learn, engage and enjoy high-quality, low-intervention wines at Josephine Butler Parks Center. $45 gets you entry and four drink tickets, each redeemable for a half-glass of high quality wine, or admittance into a guided tasting session. Additional drink tickets and food by La Jambe, Bun’d Up and Amparo will be available for purchase. This is not your basic wine event: no two-hour sessions. Just come, hang out, enjoy great music, food and wine. The following viticulturists, sommeliers, and other wine professionals will be on hand to talk about low-intervention wine: Bohemish Wines, Prestige LeDroit, Nido, Native Selections, Siema Wines, and Williams Corner Wines. Jerome Baker III will be spinning great music all day. There will also be guided tasting sessions, where DC wine folks will guide you through a special selection. Tasting sessions will be hosted by: Nataliya Georgieva, Bohemish Wines, Vanessa Cominsky, Prestige LeDroit, Thea Merl, Nido, Marcie Cox, (formerly) Reverie, and Amanda Carpenter, Native Selections. There will be one session every 30 minutes. Seatings will be limited. $45 per person. Sunday, October 2nd. For more information and tickets, please click here.
