Oktoberfest At Bluejacket

Join Bluejacket to celebrate the beginning of Oktoberfest with the release of Hill House, their traditional Bavarian-style Fest Lager. To toast the occasion, they’re tapping 6 unfiltered German-inspired beers in rubber-clad Fraconian-style gravity kegs. Some beers they're pouring include the DC Beer Week 2019 Solidarity Brew (Kellerbier), For The Company (Helles Lager), Hill House (Fest Lager), and Pattern Skies (Weissbier). If that's not enough, Executive Chef Marcelle Afram has also crafted a menu of classic German offerings, available for one day only. Some menu items include marinated mushrooms, obatzda, potato pancakes, and schnitzel sliders. They are even bringing in The Friends of The Edelweiss Band, one of the region's finest Bavarian Oompah bands. For only $20, guests will receive a 1-liter pour of any Franconian-style gravity keg + a Bluejacket German-style mug to take home. 1/2 liters will also be available for $6 each, without the commemorative mug. Limited amounts of Oktoberfest glassware, t-shirts and 16 oz. cans of Hill House will also be available for purchase in Bluejacket's bottle shop. There is no admission fee for this event.
