R&B On The Water, D.C.’s signature waterfront summer music series, returns for its fourth season with three high-energy evenings of live bands, top DJs, food, and community celebration along the Anacostia River. Presented by Classic Productions and founded by Diamond “Dymo” Watson, the beloved series has grown from a happy hour into a citywide staple, attracting nearly 2,000 guests per event.
The 2025 season kicks off Sunday, June 22, at HQO: The DC Water Building, with follow-up dates on July 27 and September 14. Guests will enjoy a dynamic indoor/outdoor experience with panoramic waterfront views, curated cocktails, and delicious eats from popular food vendors, including Takoma Station Wingery and Grub Rockstar. Signature sampling activations from Crown Royal Whisky and Los Hermanos 1978 tequila, plus a visual art installation and sale by acclaimed D.C. artist Simone Agoussoye, add to the festive atmosphere.
The June 22 lineup features crowd favorites DJ Raqie, DJ Shindig, and the house band Too Much Talent. All events are open to the public, 21+, and will take place rain or shine. Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 on the day of the event via Posh, with general admission bundles, open bar options, and VIP tables with bottle service available.
