SummerFest 2025

Olney Theatre Center presents SummerFest 2025, an exciting day-long celebration of creativity, community, and performance on Sunday, July 27 from 1:00–6:00 p.m., capped off by the return of the crowd-favorite “ExDragvaganza” at 8:00 p.m.

This free and family-friendly event invites guests to experience:
– Interactive dance performances on the Root Family Stage
– Community Chorus pop-up performances in the Cafritz Lobby and Pavilion (5:30 p.m.)
– Free theater workshops and classes in the Actors Hall (pre-registration required)
– “Behind the Curtains” – a special Q&A and campus tour with Artistic Director Jason Loewith (5:00 p.m.)
– Food trucks, artisan vendors, and local community organizations throughout the campus

The celebration concludes with “ExDragvaganza” at 8:00 p.m.—a fabulous, high-energy showcase of song, dance, and drag featuring talented local performers in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
