The Yards Debuts New Family-Friendly Frozen Fun Event, Flurry Fest!

The Yards, DC's most exciting waterfront neighborhood for living, dining, shopping and relaxing, is transforming into a frosty wonderland for an all-new event, Flurry Fest, a snow-tacular celebration of all things winter! The free family-friendly event will be packed with chilly fun for everyone to enjoy, like a live DJ, outdoor activities like Snow Throw and Bubble Hockey, frosty photo-ops and Instagrammable moments, giveaways, glitter tattoos, crafts and so much more. The Yards and Special Olympics DC are teaming up to hold the annual Polar Plunge right on The Yards boardwalk! Flurry fest-goers are invited to cheer on the brave participants as they take an icy dip for an incredible cause and even sign up to plunge themselves.
