The Yards, D.C.’s vibrant waterfront neighborhood for dining, living, and leisure, is inviting pups and their people to celebrate Halloween in style with the annual Howl-O-Ween Bar(k) Crawl on Wednesday, October 15. This spooktacular happy hour transforms The Yards’ most popular patios into a dog-lover’s dream, featuring themed cocktails, seasonal bites, and plenty of festive fun. Furry friends are encouraged to don their most creative costumes for a chance to win a gift card to their favorite Yards restaurant, while being spoiled along the way with Halloween-themed snacks, treats, bandanas, and tennis balls. Humans can sip on cocktails like the Bloodhound Margarita and Werewolf Elixir while sampling fall-inspired dishes at participating restaurants, including Emmy Squared, La Famosa, Chloe, Bluejacket, District Winery, Agua 301, and Trouble Bird—each offering their own playful twist on the evening’s menu. The event is free to attend, but registration on Eventbrite is encouraged.
