Ukiyo-Banare Melon Dinner with Snow Crane at Uchi DC

The elusive Ukiyo-banare melon will make its DC debut as Uchi and Snow Crane host an intimate, one-of-a-kind dining experience built around this rare fruit. The one-night-only eight course dinner at Uchi DC will highlight the melon's distinct flavors in a menu crafted by Chef de Cuisine Rob Drennan. The evening will conclude with a special dessert created by Snow Crane founder Chef Takeshi Nishikawa, who previously worked alongside Chef Drennan at Pineapple and Pearls. Shinya Yamazaki will be in attendance to share the ethos behind his farming practices. Tickets for the dinner (6:30 to 9:30pm) are available for $200.
