Understanding Juvenile Carjacking: A Panel Discussion Moderated by Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen at Hill Center - Online and In-Person

Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen will lead a panel discussion of stakeholders and community members on the motivation that lead youth to carjack, and the way the District's justice system holds them accountable for their actions. Panelists include Elizabeth O'Grorek (Hill Rag Reporter), Liz Weiser (DC Deputy AG), Miss Hardy (Founder, Guns Down Friday), Reginald Mathis (Credible messenger of Building Blocks, DC), and Kevin McGilly (DC foster father & concerned citizen). The discussion will be based on two articles by Elizabeth published in the Hill Rag (Why Do Kids Carjack and Carjacking is “No Big Deal”). This event is free and offered both online and in-person.
