Virtual Art Workshop: Building Design Trinket Dish

In this workshop, you will learn how to create your own polymer clay trinket dish inspired by the iconic iron lattice work on the outside of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Polymer clay is a lightweight, colorful clay that can be hardened in a home oven. Learn about the museum’s architecture while forming your own trinket dish using colors and patterns inspired by the ironwork. $20 per person, ticket includes the cost of all materials needed for the activity, hands-on instruction, and a presentation by an NMAAHC educator.
