Supper Club, a dynamic platform designed for chefs to test and market new culinary concepts, is hosting its next dinner event on Friday, June 6th at 6:30pm. This special evening will feature Chef Nana Araba Wilmot, who is debuting her acclaimed West African-focused dinner series, Love That I Knead, in the DC area. Nana, the chef and owner of Georgina’s Private Chef and Catering Co., brings a wealth of experience from working alongside culinary icons such as Wolfgang Puck, Iron Chef Jose Garces, Stephen Starr, and Chef Daniel Rose at the Michelin-starred, James Beard award-winning Le Coucou in New York City. Her “AfroSOUL” dinner series, which originated in NYC and Philadelphia, celebrates the rich culinary traditions of West Africa, the Caribbean, and the American South, offering guests a journey through the history and resilience of the African Diaspora with innovative dishes that reimagine ingredients typically associated with Southern cuisine. Adding to the evening’s allure, DC-based Celebrity Chef Kareem "Mr. Bake" Queeman, a 2023 James Beard Foundation Award semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef and Baker and a familiar face on platforms such as Netflix, Food Network, Rachael Ray, and the TODAY Show, will collaborate with Nana to craft an unforgettable dining experience.
