The Navy Yard brewery will tap a brand-new double IPA for the occasion: 86 Years. A reference to how long it's been since a Washington baseball team has made it to the World Series, 86 Years is a hazy double IPA double dry-hopped with Galaxy – it's a juicy fruit bomb of a brew that shows intense notes of passionfruit, peach and orange, and it goes on draft Tuesday in time for Game 1. Bluejacket will have food and beer specials available during watch parties for all away games including: $5 Cans, $5 Drafts, cheddar & togarashi popcorn, smoky onion rings, fried chicken bites, peel & eat shrimp, and short rib nachos.
