Homeward Trails, a rescue agency most recently known for rescuing hundreds of beagles from inhumane conditions at a breeding facility in Virginia, is hosting an adoption event from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Dovetail at Viceroy Washington DC in honor of National Dog Day. Stay for the evening or bring your pooch along for Yappy Hour from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. featuring a dog-friendly menu crafted by Chef James Gee of Dovetail. Dishes on the menu include Woofle Ball (grilled dry-aged hamburger with quinoa) or Get Along Little Doggie (cowboy steak - carved 46oz long bone ribeye with the bone on the side). Clyde from @ClydelsTheDood will be hsoting all the festivities, you surely won't want to miss out!
