After opening multiple locations throughout Virginia, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has opened its first D.C. location. Located in the Bryant Street NE development, this new concept features 873 seats for guests. Guests can enjoy drinks at in-house pub before or after the screening they are viewing. Initially, the bar will serve a variety of craft beers, later adding liquor from local distilleries. The main attraction at this new spot is the premium large format screen in its biggest auditorium. Auditorium sizes range in size from 35 to 217 seats, all of which recline and come with swivel tabletops for eating. While guests can still enjoy movie theater classics like popcorn, the Alamo offers pub food like pizza, sandwiches, and more; as well as eventually, menu options such as crab, half smokes, and more cusine of that sort.
