Mike and Christal Bramson, in partnership with Med Lahlou of Lahlou Restaurant Group, have opened their new concept, Alias on 14th, in the space formerly home to Sotto, located within Dolce Vita. This new concept features 100-seats and offers an extensive bar program that features Champagne, smoke, bubbles, bottle service, and a small meze menu from Dolce Vita Chef Elier Rodriguez. While Dolce Vita and Alias on 14th are separate concepts, a few lucky diners at Dolce Vita will recieve poker chips that invite them to Alias for a drink on the house. The space aims to emulate the speakeasies and bars in New York, and bring that atmosphere to D.C. All opening cocktails, a list of eight drinks, cost $16.00. Alias on 14th is open Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.; For more information, visit their website here.
