11820 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD

Michael Babin and Chef Matt Alder have officially opened the first Maryland location of Caruso's Grocery in Bethesda's Pike and Rose complex. Like its Capitol Hill predecessor, Caruso's Grocery is modeled after the classic, Italian-American "red sauce" joint. This new location of Caruso's Grocery is located inside the recently rebranded Owen's Tavern and Garden. Chef Matt Alder's menu focuses on making the best versions of Italian-American dishes. Some menu options at Caruso's Grocery include Garlic Bread Pizza, Chicken Parm Sliders, Burger Deluxe, and more. At this new concept, Executive Chef Drew Allen will help oversee the kitcehn at Caruso's Grocery and Owen's Tavern and Garden. Spirits Manager Nick Farrell leads the beverage program at Caruso's Grocery, and Wine Director Erin Dudley leads the wine program. Caruso's Grocery is 3,000 square-feet and can seat up to 105 guests. Caruso's Grocery is open Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.; For more information, visit their website here.
