A new seafood-centric restaurant, Hello Betty, has opened in Rockville's Pike and Rose development. Located on the second floor of the Canopy Hilton, this new Rockville location is Hello Betty's second outpost, after initially opening in California. This 3,000 square-foot space boasts 138 seats and an expansive patio with a 40-foot retired deadrise boat that has been transformed into a full-service bar. Under Chef Derek Simcik, Hello Betty serves regionally inspired seafood and shareable plates. Guests can get excited to enjoy menu options such as house-made conservas, fish and chips, Simick's inerpretation of a crab boil, and more. The bar program includes a variety of local beers, a cocktail list of seasonal drinks, and vintage wine coolers.
