1702 Galleria at Tysons II, McLean, VA

Jiwa Singapura, the only fine-dining Singaporean restaurant in the D.C. area, has opened in Tysons Galleria. Inspired by one of the most eclectic culinary scenes in the world, Chef Pepe Moncayo brings with him 10 years of cooking and living in Singapore to Jiwa Singapura. The design of Jiwa Singapura takes inspiration from the modern built forms of Singapore with traditional patterns. This new concept gives the D.C. area a taste of some of Singapore's boldest flavors through their street-food culture and high-end dining. Some menu highlights include Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Curry Puffs, Roti Prata with Potato Curry Sauce, and more. The beverage program at Jiwa Singapura nods to both Singapore's beach vibes and the city's sophistication. The wine list features 60 wines from many regions, and Jiwa Singapura also partnered with Caboose Brewing Company for its house pilsner. Jiwa Singapura is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; 571.425.4101. For more information, visit their website here.
