Following a successful opening in Georgetown, Connie McDonald and Pam Weekes have brought Levain Bakery to Maryland, with the opening of their new storefront in Downtown Bethesda. Known for their six ounce cookies that are warm and fresh out the oven, Levain also offers artisan breads, cakes, pastries, coffee drinks, and more. Levain will be offering a limited-edition ice cream sandwich until the end of Summer, made with Dolcezza Gelato. Proceeds from Levain Bethesda's opening will be donated to Bethesda Help, that offers food and financial aid to Montgomery County residents.
