Ethiopian born and French-trained Chef Elias Taddesse has opened his first full-service restaurant: Melangè in Mount Vernon Triangle. After operating as a pop-up on the patio of Wet Dog Tavern since 2016, Taddesse has finally had the opportunity to execute his long time dream of a brick and mortar. Housed in the former Ray's Hell Burger space, Chef Taddesse offers guests an expanded dine-in and takeout menu; including his world famous burgers, East-African inspired cocktails, and chef tasting menus that showcase bites of his Ethipoian-infused French cusine.
