Mercy Me, from the team behind Timber Pizza and Call Your Mother, has opened up their doors in Foggy Bottom. Acording to the owners, this is an "edited version" of the entire concept as a result of hte COVID-19 crisis. Therefore, the cafe is solely offering a takeout menu of all-day breakfast and lunch. Mercy Me adopts a South American influence and boasts dishes such as the beloved BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) that comes with a side of Venezuelan-style avocado salsa. In terms of dinner, guests can expect more South American flare through their selection of grilled pizzas. Mercy Me is open from 8:00AM until 4:00PM and is also offering beverages ranging from coffee to kombucha and frozen coffee coladas.
