Spicebird, a new ghost kitchen concept from the team behind Makan and Thirsty Cow, has opened for carryout and delivery service. Spicebird serves Southeast Asian inspired roast chicken with a variety of sauces influenced by Chef James Woznuik's travels throughout Southeastern Asia. Carryout orders can be placed for pick-up at Makan or delivery through third party vendors. The affordable and approachable menu features the 24-hour brine chicken rubbed in coriander, cinnamon, cumin, and 10 other spices, available in half or whole portions. Sides and sauces are also available to add to orders. Spicebird is open Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; 202.730.2295.
