Chef Michael Rafidi has launched a cafe and bakery inside of his Navy Yard restaruant Albi. The new concept, called Yellow, is offering guests the option to carryout a variety of pastries and beverages. The pastries are crafted by Chef Gregory Baumgartner and adopt a Middle Eastern and French influence. The delicious creations range from savory options like the harissa focaccia and za'atar & labne croissant to the baklava kouign-amann & halva-chocolate chip cookies. Additionally, the beverage options have adopted the same eclectic nature and include the coconut-cardamom cold brew along with the sumac lemonade.
