Are You Ready?! - On May 10th, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced that the city would lift all capacity limits on restaurants on Friday, May 21st, with some bars, nightclubs, and live entertainment venues following the return to normal operations on June 11th. That is a huge shift — and while it is great news, there are rules people! Not all restaurants are ready to swing open their doors. Remember to be patient & kind as restaurants hire new staff and ramp-up their operations. This is a day so many have been waiting for. Collectively, we have remained diligent did the work to maintain health and safety and getting vaccinated. Case rates are very low and city health officials said the District is very quickly containing spread and beating the virus. Now we are finally on the path to fully reopen. And again, REMEMBER to be patient & kind as restaurants hire new staff and ramp-up their operations. The best is yet to come.
