Online Class: Truffle Time
Online Event
Treat yourself to truffle-enhanced cheeses and charcuterie from around the world as you learn about these elusive, exclusive tubers and what makes them so sought-after. When incorporated into cheese and charcuterie, they take on a whole new spirit, which you will explore fully in this online class. There will be lots of items in this class, so prepare for truffle greatness. Your class kit serves two to four people and includes marin French petite truffle triple creme (Cow, California), truffle tremor (goat, California), hay there truffle gouda (raw cow, Netherlands), caciotta al tartufo (cow & sheep, Italy), sliced truffle salami, torres truffle potato chips (Spain), delicate honey for drizzling on everything, and crispy crackers. Pairing with a red burgundy from one of the most esteemed producers in the region, the Joseph Drouhin Chorey-les-Beaune 2018. It quite simply is everything that French Pinot Noir should be, enhancing the ever-distinctive truffle flavors without being pushed aside. Note: the 2018 vintage has not been reviewed yet, but the 2017 has 90 points from James Suckling. Purchase your class kit + class access for $59.99. Wine available as an add-on for an additional $34.99. Pick up your class kit on Tuesday, February 16th 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. or Wednesday, February 17th 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Keep the cheeses refrigerated until one hour before the class.
