Join Fairmont for the 19th Annual tree lighting ceremony on the hotel's courtyard to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season. The courtyard will be filled with tiny white lights and a shimmering tree, and will transform into a glittering crystal gargen. Families can heat up near outdoor heaters as they listen to the award-winning Georgetown Visitation Madrigals performing holiday classics. Children will also be able to decorate holiday cards or visit Santa Claus, while families can enter to win prizes. The ceremony is free to the public, however guests are encouraged to bring toy donations for Horton's Kids, a group that empowers children growing up in one of Washington DC's most under-resourced communities to graduate from high school and prepare them for success in life, college, and their careers.
