The Yards, D.C.’s is lacing up its running shoes for another iteration of Brunch on the Go this Spring! The fan-favorite series invites running newcomers and high-milers alike to enjoy a guided run or walk and stretch with Pacers Running and Lululemon followed by a bubbly brunch for two from a Yards restaurant.
Each Saturday, at 10:00 am, from 4/29 - May/20th a restaurant in The Yard will host brunch following a morning run. Tickets include; a curated bunch box for two, bottle of bubbles, two champange flutes, and a branded fanny pack. Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased here
The following restaurants are on the following dates:
- April, 29th - Osteria
- Battilardo Box: Prosciutto, Parm “Gelato,” Gorgonzola Dolce, Red Onion Jam, Crostini
- Insalata Romana: romaine lettuce, anchovy vinaigrette, parmigiano garlic breadcrumbs
- Uova in Purgatorio: friggione, sunny-side up eggs, polenta
- Salciccia Panini: sweet Italian sausage, arugula, pickled red onion, scallion aïoli, crispy potatoes
- Morini Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Bottle of Sparkling Rosé
- Saturday, May 6th - La Famosa
- Orejitas - A light, flaky pastry brushed with butter and cinnamon sugar, perfect for dipping in your coffee.
- Bocadillo - Fresh baked pastry filled with ham and Swiss cheese
- Tostadas Francesas - Our signature Pan de Auga bread stuffed with sweet cheese and guava filling, soaked in vanilla custard and griddled to perfection. Topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
- Bori BBQ - The newest addition to our sandwich collection, featuring pork shoulder braised in Malt India soda and tossed in a Tamarind BBQ sauce. Topped with a spicy slaw and served on a toasted brioche bun.
- Tostones - Twice fried green plantains, topped with roasted garlic oil and served with mayo ketchup for dipping.
- Ensalada Verde - Field greens tossed in a lemon honey vinaigrette with hearts of palm, watermelon radish, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and pickled red onion.
