ARTECHOUSE’s New Award-Winning Cultural Exhibit: Aṣẹ: Afro Frequencies

Embark on an immersive, sensory-filled journey that celebrates the historical and social aspects of the African diaspora and Black culture through the lens of Vince Fraser, a London-based Afro-surrealist visual artist. Aṣẹ: Afro Frequencies will kick off on June 13th and run through fall 2022 in celebration of innovative leader in the field of technology-driven and experimental art, ARTECHOUSE's 5th anniversary.

The main audiovisual installation in the Immersion Gallery is entitled Visions of the Black Experience, and sheds light on the cultural and diasporic triumphs and social justice issues facing the Black community using 18-channel, 270° floor-to-wall surround projection array, and 22.5-channel hyperreal spatialized audio systems. 

Tickets are available from $17-25 per person, with special pricing available for families. ARTECHOUSE DC wil feature Aṣẹ: Afro Frequencies throughout it's regular hours from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily through fall 2022.
