Participants will be digging deep into a variety of soil types - discussing their role in the development of grapes and identifying their signatures in the finished wines. You will taste through four flights of wines (12 wines total) selected to showcase four common vineyard soils. While you won't have to get any dirt under your fingernails, you can expect to come away with a well grounded understanding of what it takes to place below the surface.
