While neighbors, winegrowing in Argentina and Uruguay have had a divergent history and contrasting climates for winegrowing. Uruguay’s wine regions show strong Atlantic influence with compelling Tannat, Albarino, and Chardonnay reflecting a bright salinity and elegance. In Argentina, Mendoza’s dry, sunny climate and high-altitude vineyards offer the perfect conditions for ripening Bordeaux varieties, especially distinctive Malbec. After a recent trip to both countries, instructor Aileen Sevier – DipWSET & MW Candidate – cannot wait to share her stories and wine discoveries with you. Registration $85 per person and includes all wine samples and access to the Zoom class. 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. For more information or to register, click here.
