These classes will include all WSET materials, wine tasting samples selected by Jay Youmans MW, either online or in-person classes guided by a CWS instructor, and the examination for WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. This class covers the main types of wine, the most common grape varieties, wine service, storing and serving wine, tasting technique, how to describe the smell and taste of wine, and the basics of pairing food and wine. During the class, students will taste eight different wines. Registration is priced at $375 per person; reserve your spot for the online class (April 1st, 9:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.) or the in-person class (April 22nd, (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Classes will include 6 hours of guided learning and 45 minutes for the examination.
