OG DC blogger Carla Sanchez of @Spicycandydc and her brother, Juan bring their Bolivian culture to DC with Casa Kantuta, a month-long pop-up modern speakeasy debuting Thursday, July 8th at Adams Morgan's sPACEYcLOUD. Juan and Carla have partnered with fellow Bolivians Luis Aliaga (for cocktails) and Maria Helena of Saya (for salteñas), and other members of the BIPOC and immigrant community for a truly inclusive experience. Experience the modern speakeasy done Bolivian-style Thursday through Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Casa Kantuta operates as a mercadito (or market) featuring local artists, designers, vintage shops and small business owners of the BIPOC community. Sundays will also feature salteñadas (Bolivian-style brunch) from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information, please click here.
