Have you ever wanted to learn about how spirits are bottled? Here's your chance to volunteer and learn to how bottle, cap, seal, and label Roundstone Rye!
In this month's bottling workshop, volunteer to work the magic "whiskey cow" or try your hand at operating "Ninette", Catoctin Creek's fancy French labeling machine in this fun and informative day. Owners Scott and Becky (named by Southern Living as one of the top 50 people in changing the South, 2015) will start you off with breakfast and a tour of the distillery, teaching you the process they use to craft their spirits as you go. Following the tour, you will spend approximately 60 minutes bottling whiskey and sampling the spirits. You can even purchase a signed bottle that you filled yourself!
Due to overwhelming demand, space is limited to the first 30 people who respond; responses can be submitted here. Bottling days are always free to attend -- your volunteered time includes a free continental breakfast, mega-tour from Scott and Becky, the bottling workshop activity and a free tasting at the end. Breakfast and the tour will begin at 10:00 a.m.
