Join Maketto as they host Kwame Onwuachi to celebrate the release of his latest book My America: Recipes from a Young Black Chef!
My America is a celebration of the food of the African Diaspora, as handed down through Onwuachi's own family history, spanning Nigeria to the Caribbean, the South to the Bronx, and beyond.
Chef Onwuachi will be cooking up some of the 125 recipes from his book, including food and drinks. Your ticket for the evening includes a signed copy of My America, an opportunity to meet the author, and a sampling of the food as prepared by Onwuachi.
Tickets for the evening are available for $90 per person and can be reserved here. The event will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
